One of the most commonly encountered fractures in clinical dentistry are that of an incisal edge of the anterior tooth. Shade matching during direct resin restoration of this Class IV situation can be quite challenging especially in the presence of a translucent enamel pattern. The session covers guidelines for preparation design for esthetic and functional restorations in the anterior incisal edge fracture situations.
